Bu grupta yer alan yapılardan, “every”,”any”,”some” ve “no” ile başlayanları özne olarak kullanıldıklarında tekil bir fiil alırlar.
Someone/somebody, something, somewhere
Olumlu cümlelerde kullanılırlar. Sırasıyla biri, birşey, biryer anlamlarını taşırlar.
· Do you think of something exciting to do.
· Someone is listening to us now.
· The shop you are looking for should be somewhere here.
Everything, everybody / everyone, everywhere olumlu cümlelerde bir kümenin tüm bireylerini kastetmek için kullanılır. Sırasıyla herşey, herkes, heryer anlamlarını taşırlar.
· As soon as I arrived home I tried to find out whether everything was all right.
· Everybody was able to come there on time in spite of the heavy rain..
· They searched everywhere in the room to find the keys
· Everyone was silent for a minute when the judge came in.

· You sometimes should allow your child to do anything that he wants to do.
· A Muslim may pray almost anywhere, such as in fields, offices, factories and universities.
Nothing, nowhere,no one/ nobody olumlu cümlelerde kullanılır fakat cümleye olumsuz anlam katarlar. Sırasıyla hiçbir şey, hiçbir yer, hiç kimse anlamı taşırlar.
· Nothing but arid land was seen throughout our journey.
· No one has ever witnessed such a big event.
· Sam has done nothing in vain so far.
